Dear Applicant!

Kyzylorda Medical College for the 2020-2021 academic year conducts a psychometric test to determine the professional suitability of the applicant.
When conducting a psychometric test, the college is guided by Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 578 dated October 18, 2018 "On Approval of the Standard Rules for Admission to Education in Educational Organizations Implementing Educational Programs of Technical and Vocational Education" (Order No. 578 as amended by order of the Ministry of Education and Science RK dated May 12, 2020 No. 197).
The purpose of the psychometric test is to determine the future specialist s professional orientation and personality orientation, communication, empathy, humanism, as well as logic, intelligence, and the ability to learn.

І. Procedure for conducting a psychometric test

1. Applicants should familiarize themselves with the procedure and conditions for conducting a psychometric test in advance.
2. The psychometric test is mandatory before the entrance competition.
3. Psychometric test for:
- applicants with basic secondary education (basic general);
- applicants with general secondary, technical and vocational, after secondary education, with higher education;
- applicants with general secondary, technical and vocational, after secondary education, with higher medical education corresponding to the profile;
- applicants with general secondary, technical and vocational, after secondary education, with higher medical education inappropriate to the profile;
is held on August 21-24, 2020 from 10:00 to 17:00 local time on the college website.
4. All applicants enjoy equal rights regardless of origin,   social and property status, race and nationality, beliefs, confessions, nature of occupation.
5. Applicants to an educational institution have the right to choose to take a test in Kazakh or Russian.
6. Retake of the test is not allowed.
7. Each correct test answer is evaluated in points:
- for applicants with basic secondary education (basic general) - one correct answer -5 points;
- for applicants with a general average - 4 points
8. The number of test questions for applicants with basic secondary education (basic general) -20, for each test 1 minute, testing time 20 minutes, for applicants with general secondary education -25 questions, for each test 1 minute, testing time 25 minutes.

9. According to the test results, applicants with basic secondary education (basic general) who scored 50 or more points are evaluated as "Pass", applicants with general secondary education who scored 60 or more points are evaluated as "Pass".
